The company LA COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE, a simplified joint stock company with a capital of  €20 510 000 , whose head office is located at Puy du Fou, 85590 LES EPESSES, registered in LA ROCHE-SUR-YON Trade and Companies register under number 347 490 070 and the company PUY DU FOU FRANCE, a simplified joint stock company with a capital of  €50 000 000 €, whose head office is located at Puy du Fou, 85590 LES EPESSES, registered in LA ROCHE-SUR-YON Trade and Companies register under number 347 490 070, represented by Mr. Nicolas de Villiers, have created this Personal Data Protection Policy in order to communicate the policy and practices of COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE et du PUY DU FOU France regarding the collection and disclosure of information about you that will have been obtained on the legrandtour.com website, in its telephone relations center or any other physical reception point that it has subcontracted.

Thus, as co-controllers of the processing, COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE and PUY DU FOU France attach great importance to the respect of your Privacy and respect the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. 

2. PURPOSE OF COLLECTING YOUR DATA

Your personal data is collected either on the basis of your explicit consent or is necessary for the execution of your reservations (execution of a contract).

Thus, your personal data is collected in order to :

  • Answer your questions via the "contact us" form or our telephone service,
  • Send you our brochures following your request via the "Brochure" form or our telephone service, 
  • Manage your online or telephone booking,
  • Ensure the security of online transactions, prevent fraud and payment incidents,
  • To ask you about your satisfaction with our services, 
  • Subject to your consent, send you information about our offers, news and events

 

The Personal Data required to fulfil the purposes described above are indicated on our online forms or by our telephone operators or any reception staff at COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE.

If yu do not provide this data, COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE will not be able to respond to your requests.

3. DATA COLLECTED BY COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE

The Personal Data that we are mainly likely to collect and process concerning you are the following : 

  • data relating to your identity : your title, surname, first names, postal address, telephone number, e-mail addresses ;
  • data relating to your means of payment, in particular your credit card number and its expiry date ; 
  • data relating to the follow-up of our commercial relationship, in particular your order number, the history of your purchases, your requests or your correspondence with our Visitor Relations Department 

4. RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your Personal Data is processed by COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE and PUY DU FOU FRANCE. They will not be transferred or made accessible to any third party, except :

  • any subcontractors of COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE for exclusively technical and logistical reasons (transporters, routersn hosting, catering and site maintenance service providers, payment and fraud management service providers, etc.)
  • any subscription to cancellation insurance which requires the communication of your data in the insurance company. 

 

Finally, COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE may be required to communicate your Personal Data to third parties when such communication is required by law, a regulatory provision or a judicial decision, or if such communication is necessary to ensure the protection and defence of its rights.

5. TRANSFER OF DATA ABROAD

COMPAGNIE DE FRANCEdoes not transfer any of your Personal Data outside the European Union.

In the event that such a transfer is implemented, in particular outside the European Union, it will be carried out with appropriate guarantees and in compliance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data. 

6. STORAGE TIME

COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE undertakes to use Personal Data only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes described above.

  • The data relating to your reservations will in principle be kept by Puy du Fou for a period not exceeding the applicable legal prescription periods,
  • Your bank details will be kept securely for the validation of your order and payment. It will then be kept for a maximum of 13 months,
  • Your identification data used, with your agreement, to answer your questions, to send a brochure, to send information on our offers, news and events will be kept for a period of : 

-  three years from the date of collection and from your last contact if you have never made a reservation with COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE

-  five years from your last contact if you have made a reservation with COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE

A request for documentation, a call to our Visitor Relations Department or a click on a hypertext link contained in an e-mail are considered as contact ; however, opening an e-mail cannot be considered as contact.

At the end of this three or five year period, COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE p may contact you again to find out whether or not you wish to continue to receive information on its offers, news and events.

In any case, you have the right to unsubscribe from emails at any time. To do so, you can contact our Visitor Relations Department by e-mail at mesdonnees@puydufou.com or by clicking on the unsubscribe link attached to each e-mail. This applies to all electronic communication from Puy du Fou, with the exception of emails required to process reservation and send travel documents.

7. SECURITY

COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE and PUY DU FOU FRANCE have put in place the appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of your Personal Data. 

COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE's computer systems are subject to state-of-the-art physical and software protection. Physical and electronic backup procedures for the data collected are implemented in accordance with current French legislation on the protection of personal data and market standards.


Employees of COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE and PUY DU FOU France who, by virtue of their position, have access to your Personal Data are subject to strict confidentiality obligations. 

Please be aware, however, that no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and that all information communicated online can potentially be intercepted and used by persons other than the intended recipient.

Please enclose proof of identity with any request.

In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e. the CNIL in France

9. CHANGES AND UPDATES TO THE PRIVACY POLICE

By using our site, contacting our telephone service, our Visitor Relations Department or any of COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE's receptionists, you agree to the collection and use of your data in the manner described in this Personal Data Protection Policy. This Policy reflects the current business practices of COMPAGNIE DE FRANCE.

In case of modification or update, the revised Policy will be posted on the legrandtour.com website with the date of the last update.
